In your face

His name is JR and
he is the winner of the TED prize 2011. TED needs no introduction (just in case
that you’ve been distracted lately, here’s the link: www.ted.com) and JR gives you all the
information about himself and His work on the vídeo bellow.

Done with all the presentations, here’s my point: JR achieves what all
creators look for – the perfect balance between form and function. In terms of
form, the aesthetic of his work in magical – everything, from degradeted walls
to old trains become a work of art, with his large format prints of faces and
eyes. And in terms of function, the result is even more impressive – he calls
out the attention for all the social problems that concern him in a way that
few ONG’s can brag about. Kudos for Mr. JR.
